Offered for sale is the iconic Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116520, dating from 2011, presented in excellent condition following a full service.
This example has been fitted with a striking silver Racing dial, while the original black APH dial and corresponding hands are also included. The combination gives the new owner the opportunity to enjoy two highly desirable configurations while retaining the original components.
The watch comes as a complete full set, including the original Rolex receipt, making it an especially interesting example for collectors. The 116520 is the legendary pre-Cerachrom Daytona powered by Rolex’s in-house Calibre 4130, and the reference was produced until 2016.
Fun Fact:
The “APH” dial gets its nickname from a small spacing anomaly in the word “COSMOGRAPH”, where a visible gap appears between “COSMOGR” and “APH.” These dials have become highly collectible, particularly on late-production 116520 examples.
